When we started 2020, Noone could predict the amount of change the the world would face. From the pandemic to peaceful protest, the world has changed tremendously since January. Industry professionals and companies were the first to adapt. What does that mean for our industry?

Covid Compliance Line Producers and Cultural Diversity Training should be a must. Why? Because Covid Complaince affects your safety and your budget. Who wants to be ignorant on these line items. I have made it my choice to make sure that I am up to date with the industry standards for Covid Compliance. Not only by understanding the very long industry wide memorandum but to truly understand what I should know and what I should be looking for in an Covid Compliance Officer. What cost are being fluffed? What safety items are being overlooked? If I dont know then how can I ensure that I paying for the right people and right things.

Equally so, there has been a huge demand for diversity behind the scenes for BIPOC. BIPOC often are overlooked for jobs and ignored when in the work environment especially when their are culturally insensitive remarks and/or practices. How do you know what to look for? What are common no-nos and micro-aggressions and/or even sometime culturally insensitive behaviors. I have put together a team of Industry POC, Women and LGBTIA+ members who are here to provide guidance.

Bob Dylan was a talented and wise man, I think we should listen to him.
